Gringo’s in Huddersfield is certainly gaining a reputation as one of the best restaurants to hit West Yorkshire. Serving Mexican dishes in a warm atmosphere of orange and purple design, it is a vibrant and happening place to eat and chill out.
Years of traveling in Indonesia, Australia, Fiji and America, experimenting with foods and cultures, has given Chris Lee and Ben Franco the experience and individuality to offer dinners exciting creations. And it is paying off. The restaurant is becoming a haven for those wanting quality food and service. With a specials menu that knows no comparison and a main menu offering traditional delights such as fajitas, chimichaga and enchilada, there is something for everyone. The décor is a funky mix of 1960s refurbished furniture, distinctive wall designs and shattered bullet proof glass in frames!
It has a reputation which is attracting customers from as far as Leeds and Manchester while at the same time putting Huddersfield firmly on the map.
“it has exceeded all expectations” said thirty year old Chris “Gringo’s was a plan we had years ago but didn’t feel it was the right time.
Then we decided to go ahead and it has just taken off” The guys are adamant that everything should be done the way they want it and they have worked hard to get everything exactly right. Chris added “Passion is our motivation and we knew in our hearts that this was the way it should work”.
