The Malt Shovel Inn, in the picturesque village of Brearton, is a beautifully atmospheric, 16th-Century Country Pub surrounded by the idyllic North Yorkshire countryside that lies between Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon.
Jürg and Jane draw from their wealth of experience in food and hospitality to create a restaurant that offers enticing food in a welcoming setting. Jürg excels in both traditional and innovative flavours and textures within his cooking and smoking. He insists upon the finest ingredients, the freshest of fish and well-sourced local produce in all his recipes.
