This delightful village inn, which can be found nesting in the picturesque village of Wentbridge, is now owned by Jamie and Kerry Merrill who are quickly building up a reputation for excellent food, great beers and fine wines – all served in a very convivial atmosphere, by warm and friendly staff.
Originally a coaching inn, The Bluebell Inn in Wentbridge, dates back to before the sixteenth century.
Almost totally re-built in 1974 using the original stone, the interior is fitted out with the famous Mouseman furniture. Pews and screens are also used in the lounge area, which have come from the local church and cathedral.
Although set in the tranquil countryside of west Yorkshire, the A1 and M1 motorway networks are just minutes away by car.
An extensive menu is available seven days a week, and complimented on Sundays with a superb carvery. In addition to the main menu a wide range of daily specials are also available. All food is freshly cooked using the finest local produce.
The Bluebell is proud of it wide range of cask ale that includes Timothy Taylor's Landlord.

Function Room Facility
The function room seats approx 50 people, there is a private bar and toilets within the room. It also benefits from french doors opening on to the beer garden with fantastic views of surrounding countryside.
There are 2 menus available, a cold buffet and hot buffet with a selection of dishes .
The room benefits from a fully integrated sound system. A DJ can also be supplied at a cost of £150.
The room has a £100 hire charge if catering is provided. Only food and drink bought from the Bluebell can be consumed within the function room. A charge of £250 is payable for functions without catering.
A £100 deposit is payable on making a booking with the balance due 2 weeks before the function date.
Day hire for business meetings is £100. Refreshments including Tea/Coffee and juice can be provided for £2.50pp. A selection of Sandwiches is available for £4.95pp.
